Hemi Ahio Finishes Ed Fountain Within the Distance

Heavyweight Hemi Ahio (13-0-0 9 KOs) knocked out opponent Ed Fountain (12-5-0 5 KOs) in the 7th round of their scheduled 8 round fight.

The bout was held on March 2nd at The Voinovich Center in Columbus, OH.

In the 7th round Ahio landed a devastating right cross followed by a final flurry. The exchange was enough to convince the referee to stop the fight.

The 9th knockout of Ahio’s career elevates his record to 13-0-0. Fountain on the other hand fell to 12-5-0. The win wasn’t unexpected from Ahio but every fight is dangerous, especially in this division. We’re glad to see Ahio moving forward in his career and look forward to seeing more from him.
